Catsup gives all of its profits to the Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA). Although it is not a commercial website in the true sense, we are committed to providing an efficient and professional service for our customers. After all, we'd very much like you to recommend us to your friends and to come back and shop with us again yourselves.


Our Terms and Conditions

Catsup works in partnership with CCNow, an online retailer. This allows us to take orders via their secure server.

When you place an order in the Catsup Shop and opt for payment by credit card, you will receive an email from our online retailer, CCNow confirming your order.

Catsup is usually able to send merchandise within 7 working days of receiving an order. (Most orders are actually processed within one working day.) If, for any reason we are unable to send an order within 7 working days, we will let you know and give you the option of cancelling your order.

If payment is by cheque, we reserve the right to wait until the cheque has cleared before we send your order. This normally takes 5 working days.

Where payment is by credit card, Catsup will email you when we have despatched the merchandise to you to let you know it's on its way.

Where payment is by cheque or postal order, we will email you when we have despatched the merchandise to you provided you have enclosed an email address with your order.

Merchandise will be sent by first class post to UK addresses or by parcel post if the weight is in excess of 1 kg, and by airmail to International addresses.

All prices shown in the Catsup Shop are inclusive of postage and packing.

When you receive your credit card statement, it will show CCNow as the seller.

Merchandise may be returned within 30 days for exchange or full refund. The item must be returned in its original, unopened packing. The receipt must also be enclosed.

In the unlikely event that you receive damaged merchandise, we will exchange it or refund you in full if you return it in its original unopened packaging within 30 days. The receipt must also be enclosed.

Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.


Catsup's Privacy Policy


We are committed to protecting your privacy.

We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice.

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name address phone number email address. (Catsup does not see your credit card details. They are held by our secure server CCNow. Their privacy policy is set out below.)

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. If you have any questions/comments about privacy, you should email us.

CCNow's Secure Server.

The shopping-cart software runs in Secure Mode on the customer's browser, using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt sensitive data such as credit card numbers.

CCNow's privacy policy is as follows:

CCNow asks customers to supply various personal data when placing an order, such as name and address, credit-card information, and E-mail address. They use this data only for the purpose of filling an order, or communicating with the customer or Catsup about the status of an order. They treat this customer information as private and confidential, and they will not disclose this information to other individuals or organizations unless required by law. They will not distribute customer information to be used in mailing lists, surveys, or any other purpose other than what is required to perform their services. CCNow is committed to safeguarding the privacy of their customers' personal data.

Catsup's Complaints Procedure

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service you have received from Catsup, please let us know us as soon as possible, by email or , telephone. Contact details are at the bottom of this page. We will do our very best to put things right as quickly as we can.

We will send you an acknowledgement of your complaint within 5 working days and a full reply within 14 days.

If, for any reason, we cannot deal with your complaint within these time limits, we will give you a reason for the delay, and a date by which we will send you a full reply.
